Paul A. Thompson

	Paul A. Thompson, age 66, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, June 21, 2000 at Clement J.a Zablocki Medical Center in Milwaukee.
	He was born July 2, 1933 in Pinckneyville, IL, the son of the late Leonard G. and Mary M. (Keller) Thompson.  He attended schools in Pinckneyville and moved to Kenosha in 1955.
	Mr. Thompson was a Corporal in the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict as a radar repair technician.  On July 16, 1955 in DuQuoin, he married Marjorie Nichols.  His marriage ended in divorce in 1979.
	He worked as  a tool and die maker at Kenosha Tool, Die and Engineering Company, Kenosha Gateway Tool and Die, Inc. in Kenosha and then he owned and operated Universal Tool, Die and Welding Company in Racine, retiring in 1992.
	He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Lodge #34.  He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, repairing televisions and spending time with his grandchildren.
	He is survived by two sons:  Alan Butch Thompson of Racine and David Thompson of Kenosha; two daughters:  Deborah Edmark of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Penney Thompson of Kenosha; one sister:  Mildred Boyles of DuQuoin, IL and five grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers and sisters.
	Funeral services for Mr. Thompson were held on Saturday, June 24 at 1 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus-Thulin Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha Wisconsin.  Private interment was on Monday in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
	Visitation for Mr.Thompson was held on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
